Further information - Notes on confidentiality

The report is accessible only to you and the "Whistleblowing Officer" (hereinafter, also "Officer") of Emu Group S.p.a. Through this platform you can send a report in a secure and confidential manner, and you can also send a report completely anonymously.

Confidential Reporting: a confidential report is a report in which the whistleblower is identifiable. Confidential reports involve the prior registration of the user and then, once the account is created, the user can send the report. It is possible to send a confidential report even without creating an account, by filling in the report form from the "Report without registration" section (if any) and indicating personal data at the end of the form. The whistleblower's data are separated from the report, therefore, the confidential report is sent to the Officer anonymously. Only the Officer is able to associate the report with the whistleblower's data and then view its identity.

Anonymous Reporting: anonymous reports are reports that do not allow the association of the report to the name of the whistleblower as the data of the name of the whistleblower does not exist. In this case, the whistleblower is not obliged to register with the system and may send the report as an unregistered user in the "Report without registration" section, if any.

This platform guarantees the confidentiality and security of information: All content you enter, including your identity, is encrypted and can only be read by you and the Officer and recipients of the reports.

Once the report has been sent, you can follow its progress and continue to communicate with the Officer through the message area, associated with the report. Even in this case, all information is encrypted and protected by the platform. If you have indicated an e-mail address (or if you have registered), you will receive an e-mail notification, when the Officer sends you a message. In any case, we recommend that you periodically access your report to verify the presence of any requests for clarification by the Officer. For greater confidentiality, we recommend not using a company e-mail address.

If you have indicated your name, or if you send the report as a registered user, your identity is also hidden from the Officer, who in any case will have the right to view it should the latter deem it necessary. In this case, you will be informed by a notice within the report.

For greater confidentiality, we suggest you:

not include personal data that could lead to your identity in the description of the reported event;

do not use a company e-mail address for registration or to receive notifications from the system;

do not send a report from your workstation.
